The book says babies learn to smile at the 7th week. The day before Tom became 7 weeks, I was worried. He did smile occasionally, especially in the morning when his grandpa tickles him, but I did not have much success to do that when I come home at night. Was Tom really going to learn to smile just over night?

Yes, he did. From the moment he woke up on the Saturday morning  (he was born on a Saturday morning), he just kept smiling whenever he was "asked", nonstop smiling all the day! My goodness, how accurate the biology is, and Tom has learned it! :-) Well, maybe it is just because his father is a biologist. Anyways, a smiley boy, and a happy and proud daddy.

要不要戴帽子啊？ Written by Alex on 2006-11-30 22:49:59 外婆说如果一出门就戴帽子，容易养成宝宝“ 帽子依赖性”，不好。我们也觉得有道理。小 孩屁股三把火，说不定脑袋也三把火哩。所以 我们一般出门都不给他戴帽子。不过，慢慢天 气要冷了，不能把小宝宝冻着了，如果有风， 我们以后还是戴帽子吧，再说潼潼的小脑袋毛 儿也不多，还是要保护保护   我们就等着壮壮哥的小船长帽吧！

baby is smart Written by SL on 2006-12-01 11:36:32 when Kyle doesnt like wearing hat. whenever you put it on his head, he will try to grab it away. but there are exceptions. if it's cold, he wont do that. he knows it's more comfortable with a hat.. so dont worry, baby knows exactly what he wants.
